Integrated Science Education

 

Why Study Education Integrated Science?

Education Integrated Science prepares future educators with a robust foundation in interdisciplinary scientific concepts, enabling them to foster scientific literacy in students. This course equips graduates to inspire curiosity and problem-solving skills in classrooms and beyond.

Course Content

Students engage in the following core subjects:

  • General Biology I & II (6 Credits): Fundamentals of life sciences.
  • General Chemistry I & II (6 Credits): Basics of chemical principles.
  • General Physics I & II (6 Credits): Mechanics, electricity, and magnetism.
  • Mathematics for Scientists (3 Credits): Mathematical applications in science.
  • Science Teaching Methods (3 Credits): Innovative pedagogical techniques.
  • Research Project (6 Credits): Independent study in science education.

Entry Requirements

  • O'Level: Minimum five credits, including English, Mathematics, and three science subjects.
  • UTME Subjects: English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Direct Entry: NCE or OND in related fields with merit or distinction.

Fees and Funding

  • Tuition Fee: ₦40,000 per session.
  • Scholarships: Merit-based awards and need-based financial aid available.
