B.A. History and Diplomatic Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in History and Diplomatic Studies at Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education (AIFCE) is a dynamic program designed for students who aspire to understand the intricate fabric of history while exploring the art and practice of diplomacy. Entry Requirements

To gain admission into the B.A. History and Diplomatic Studies program at AIFCE, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • SSCE/GCE/O-Level: A minimum of five credits in subjects including English Language, History, Government, and any two other social science subjects.

  • UTME: Candidates must achieve a competitive score in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), selecting History or Government as a subject in their examination.

  • Post-UTME Screening: Successful candidates are required to pass the university’s post-UTME screening.

Applicants with strong academic performance in history, social sciences, and international affairs are especially well-positioned for success in this program.
