Entry Requirements

Applicants seeking admission into the B.Sc. (Ed.) Chemistry programme must meet the following requirements:

UTME Entry

  • Minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes, including:

    • Chemistry

    • Mathematics

    • English Language

    • Physics

    • Biology

  • Acceptable score in JAMB UTME, with Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/Mathematics as subjects.

  • Successful performance in the University’s Post-UTME screening.

Direct Entry

  • NCE, OND, or A-Level qualifications in Chemistry or related fields.

  • Minimum of Merit in NCE Chemistry Education.

  • Direct entry candidates may be admitted into 200 or 300 level, depending on qualifications.
