B.Sc. Biology

Course Structure

The B.Sc. Biology curriculum is carefully designed to blend foundational science, advanced biological studies, and real-life applications. Students undergo a progressive learning experience across three major domains: General Biology, Applied Biology, and Specialised Biological Sciences.

Entry Requirements

To be admitted into the B.Sc. Biology programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

UTME Requirements

  • Five (5) O’Level credits in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Language, and one other relevant science subject.

  • A satisfactory UTME score with Biology and Chemistry as core subjects.

Direct Entry Requirements

  • A-Level passes in Biology/Zoology, Botany, or Chemistry.

  • NCE or OND in relevant science fields with minimum required grades.

  • Candidates must also satisfy the O’Level credit requirements.
