Year 1

Entry Requirements

To be admitted into the Education Economics program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. UTME Candidates:

    • Minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE or equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and two other relevant subjects.

    • A satisfactory UTME score, meeting the departmental cut-off mark.

  2. Direct Entry Candidates:

    • At least two A-Level passes in Economics and one other subject.

    • NCE with merit or above in relevant subjects.

    • OND or HND with a minimum of lower credit in related fields.


Fees and Funding

The program’s fee structure is designed to be affordable, reflecting our commitment to accessible education:

  • Tuition Fees: NGN 50,000 per session (subject to periodic reviews).

  • Additional Fees: NGN 20,000 for materials and practical sessions.
